- The Lord answers, the vision is for a later time: wait for it. Woe to him who takes what is not his. Woe to those that covet evil and build towns with blood and iniquity. Woe to those who make graven images with no breath. They have sinned against your soul. #Hbk2
- Habakkuk offers a prayer to Yahweh. The Lord comes down from on high; his majesty fills the heavens. The mountains see him and tremble. The sun and moon stand still. He has trampled the heathen in anger. He went forth for the salvation of his people. #Hbk3
