- Paul & Timothy write to the adelphi of Colossae, thanking God for their faith in Christ Jesus, and for receiving the gospel message. We pray that you lead a life worthy of the Lord, a kingdom of light in the dominion of darkness. We are redeemed through His blood. #Col1
- I am with you in the spirit of faith in Jesus. Beware philosophy and vain deceit. You are complete in the fullness of the Deity, circumcised of your flesh through Christ. Christ takes away our sins, which are nailed to the cross, and frees us from human rules. #Col2
- Ideal Christian behavior is to get rid of anger, rage, malice and slander and to clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility and love. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, but Christ is in all. Instructions for Christian households are given. Be thankful to God. #Col3
- Masters should give to their slaves what is just and equal, as we also have a Master in heaven. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt. Paul ends by acknowledging Tychicus (who Paul sent) and several others, and for the letter also to be read at Laodicea. #Col4
