Titus

  1. Paul writes to Titus in Crete, instructing him to appoint elders that are blameless, have one wife, not given to anger, wine, or filthy lucre, but are sober, just, and holy.  Do not be deceived by vain talkers or deceptive Cretans. #Titus1
  2. Paul instructs Titus to teach older men to be temperate and worthy of respect and older women to be reverent. Young women are to respect their husbands & show self-control, like young men. Slaves should be subject to their masters. For the grace of God is the hope of all. #Titus2
  3. Be subject to the authorities, be peaceable and considerate, and live without malice or envy. We are saved through the mercy of God through his son Jesus. Avoid foolish controversies, and reject a heretic after the second admonition. Devote yourself to doing good. #Titus3
